Jo Wood BSc (Hons) undertook her design degree at the University of East London.
She began her career as a product and graphic designer with Alba plc/Harvard International, a position she was offered on the strength of work she displayed at a London design show.
For over 8-years Jo worked in the Design & Communications Centre at Alba, where she created the brand identities, brochure designs and packaging designs for their umbrella of brands.
These included Alba Radio, Breville, Breville Antony Worrall Thompson, Bush Radio, Carl Lewis Fitness, Dirt Devil, Goodmans, Grundig, Hinari Appliances, JCB Power Products, Ministry of Sound Audio, Nicky Clarke Electric, Power Devil and Roadstar.

My new husband and I both love nature; one of the reasons we chose our home was that it had a grand old oak tree in the back garden.
I wanted this beautiful tree to inspire our wedding design.
I also wanted to reference the design of the first Valentine's Day card, which I sent to my husband and that we have always sentimentally kept.
The final invite design was an illustration I created based on our oak tree and the nature that lives in it.
My husband wrote out our names, in his beautiful handwriting, so I could incorporate that in to the card design.
